Human Resource Services
At Payback Solutions Ltd. we believe that effective Human Resource strategies are a key factor in
the achievement of organisational success. Our experience lies in the development and
implementation of effective HR strategies which drive the organisational systems, culture
and structures which impact employee performance. Our services include the development
of HR strategies designed to meet the needs and challenges of the organisations that we serve.
Our services also include a wide range of HR consultancy programmes. The following are examples
of some of these services:
Job Analysis
One on one interviews with staff to identify the workflows, prepare job descriptions and improve work
efficiencies. The results of the job analysis are discussed with management and recommendations are
presented and if agreed implemented.
Development of Policies and Procedures
To develop tailored HR policies and procedures to help ensure that there is consistency and fairness
in the management of personnel, clarity and understanding of the terms and conditions of employment
and to help organisations become legally compliant. Approved procedures can then be summarised in
a handbook, issued and communicated to all personnel.
Selection Interviews
The consultant can participate in or drive the selection process by developing job and person
specifications, placing job advertisements, developing selection techniques, conduct interviews, check
references and issue offers of employment.
Contracts of Employment
The consultant can prepare contracts of employment that are suited to the needs of your organisation.
Performance Management System
The consultant will put in place a performance management system designed to the unique requirements
of your organisation. This will include a performance review and employee development strategy.
Training and Development Structure
Effective training and development of personnel is one of the most important factors in achieving
business results. The consultant can implement a training and development process which will include
the identification of training needs, planning and designing the training, the development of training
plans, the delivery of training and evaluation methods. The training process will also be closely
linked with the performance management process.
Equality Audit
The Employment Equality Act, 1998 outlaws discrimination on nine grounds. This applies to access to
employment, conditions of employment, training and promotional opportunities. The act specifically
outlaws harassment and sexual harassment and places an onus on employers to have effective preventative
measures in place as well as complaints procedures. PBS Ltd. can conduct a comprehensive audit of
workplace policies and practices to ensure compliance in all areas of the Employment Equality Act.
1998. As part of this audit practical recommendations will be presented and assistance can be given
in the implementation of such recommendations.
Mentorship Programme
Provide confidential and structured mentorship to existing staff to help them improve their own
management skills and personal effectiveness. PBS can also assist companies in setting up a
formal mentorship programme within the organisation and facilitating the development of this programme.
